- Who may play? Adults, 21 and overPhilippine law sets casino play at 21, so each page here speaks only to readers who have reached that age.
- Where do the buttons go? To 76JLBoth buttons, the yellow REGISTER NOW and the green-outlined PLAY NOW, open 76JL; that brand is not the JLJL88 lobby.
- What is checked against? Public papersClaims about JLJL88 come from its own logged-out screens; claims about law and wallets come from PAGCOR and BSP documents anyone can open.
How do I keep gambling a leisure choice?
Responsible gaming is mostly decided before the first deposit: a limit on money, a limit on time and a clear idea of when you stop. The rest of this page covers the rules, the exclusion programme and the people to call.
Responsible Gaming: Two Limits Before You Pay
Which limits should I set?
PAGCOR’s reminders are short: treat gambling as no income, cap each session’s length, never stake borrowed cash, keep some money off the table, and let a loss stay lost.
How does that turn into a routine?
- Choose a monthly sum that you could lose and still pay for rent, food and bills.
- Fix how long a session lasts and put an alarm on your phone.
- Stop when either the money or the alarm runs out.
What if I break my own rule once?
Treat it as a signal and not as a failure. Lower the limit, take a few days off and read the warning signs below.
Responsible Gaming: What the Lobby Shows
Does the lobby offer limit tools?
Logged out, none were seen. The desktop footer read on 5 November 2026 holds only a copyright line, and anything for deposits or time would sit behind the login. The bottom bar lists Customer Service, Telegram, Telegram CS and Facebook, so ask whether limits exist before you count on them.
Responsible Gambling Philippines: Who Sets the Rules
Who regulates it?
PAGCOR. Its Responsible Gaming Code of Practice, version 6.0 from 2021, asks licensees to say plainly that nobody under 21 may play; the closing line it prescribes is “Gaming for 21 years old and above only. Keep it Fun. Game Responsibly.”
Does that cover every casino site?
It covers PAGCOR’s licensees. A legit check against the PAGCOR lists explains that the brand is on neither of the two lists of 29 October 2026, so the lobby cannot be assumed to follow the code.
PAGCOR Self Exclusion: How It Works
What are the options?
There are two. Self-exclusion you request yourself, picking a 6-month, 1-year or 5-year term. Once filed, the opening 6 months cannot be lifted. A spouse, child or parent can also file a family exclusion, lasting 6 months, a year, or three years.
What does an application need?
Prepare the form, a photocopied government photo ID, and two colour photos (2x2 size, taken within 6 months); filing remotely also needs a selfie or video call. Send them by e-mail (ResponsibleGaming@pagcor.ph) or use the PAGCOR drop box. That box is in Pasay City, at MET Live. PAGCOR also lists a request for self-exclusion for online platforms at osea.pagcor.ph.
Does it reach every site?
By PAGCOR’s account, exclusion reaches every site it licenses and operates. Anything beyond that, including an unlisted brand, needs its own account closure, plus a blocking tool on your phone if you want a second barrier.
Red flags to watch for
How do I know it has stopped being fun?
PAGCOR lists these signs:
- Staking above your plan, or still playing after the clock you set has run out.
- Repeated attempts to recover money you already lost.
- Debt, or bills going unpaid.
- Borrowing, selling things or stealing to keep gambling.
- Constant thoughts about gambling.
- Strained relationships, hopelessness, anxiety or depression.
One sign is enough?
Yes, to call someone. Waiting for several makes the problem larger.
Help Lines in the Philippines
Who answers?
The National Problem Gambling Helpline opened in May 2026: ring (02) 8248 9568 day or night, free and confidential. It also answers at support@npgh.ph and npgh.ph. PAGCOR’s responsible gaming desk answers at responsiblegaming@pagcor.ph. For a mental health emergency, the number is 1553.
Anyone else?
Among the help centres PAGCOR lists are Bridges of Hope (0917 509 8826) and Gamblers Anonymous Philippines (0915 938 2808), while families can turn to Gam-Anon Philippines. Illegal gaming sites? PAGCOR says report them at cicc.gov.ph.
Before you open login only once limits are set or a registration form, have your two numbers written down. App installs and wallet top-ups should follow the same rule, as set out in app installs, with limits in mind and casino GCash top-ups and limits.
How to Get Started
-
Fix two numbers before you pay
Decide on a monthly loss ceiling and a maximum length for any single session, then keep both in writing somewhere visible.
-
Stop at either number
Close the lobby as soon as the budget or the timer is spent. Never top up in order to recover losses, and never borrow.
-
Reach out sooner rather than later
If stopping feels hard, call the helpline or apply for exclusion. Both are free, and neither needs a reason to be explained.
